You will need to employ a conveyancing solicitor to deal with the legal side of the sale. Purple Bricks will not be able to send out the memorandum of sale confirming the agreed price and details of the sale until all the conveyancing lawyers are instructed. This is invariably sent by email to everyone in one go.
Once we have this we can start working on your sale – this includes obtaining copies of your title deeds, drafting the contract for the sale and sending you the necessary sale forms to complete and return with your identification and bank details. If the property is leasehold we will need to make additional enquiries with your landlord or management company to collate the additional information required by the buyer and their solicitor. This can add some time to the process so we need to ask for this as soon as possible as the managing agents charge for information and are often not very quick as supplying this.
